We are changing some services from Friday 16th May 2025.
Some services in the Cannock and Wolverhampton areas will be changing - details are below:
Service 5
Chaserider will take over the operation of Monday to Saturday daytime journeys from Banga Buses, with a revised route and timetable being operated under contract to Staffordshire County Council.
Buses will operate via a revised route in Wolverhampton City Centre, and will also operate via Dunstall Road and Evans Street between Wolverhampton and Whitmore Reans. All journeys will follow the same route at all times of day, including evening and Sunday journeys.
A new timetable will be introduced with buses running every 30 minutes.

Services 25 & 26
There are minor changes to times in the early afternoon on some journeys.

Services 70, 70A and 71
A new timetable will be introduced, and on schooldays there will be two buses running on service 70A between Featherstone and Cheslyn Hay Academy to relieve overcrowding on through journeys on service 70.
In Wolverhampton, buses will operate to and from Wolverhampton Bus Station - service 70 will serve both the Bus Station and Stafford Street, and service 71 will operate directly from Wednesfield Road to the Bus Station.

New service 827 commences on 6th May 2025
The service is funded by Staffordshire County Council through the government's Bus Service Improvement Plan.
The new route operates from Stafford, through Queensville then in a loop of Baswich, Milford, Brocton and Wildwood before returning via Queensville to Stafford.

Road Closed: Radford Bank/Queensville
Date: Monday 3rd March to Saturday 3rd May 2025
Service affected: 74
Due to an overnight closure from 8pm to 6am (Monday-Friday), a few journeys on the 74 will be on diversion for the duration of the closure:
From Stafford - it will operate as normal from Stafford via Queensway Island, but instead of continuing on Lichfield Road, it will divert right onto the A449, Wolverhampton Road, onto Rowley Bank, Rising Bark, and Moss Pitt to the M6 roundabout, where it will continue on A449 through Dunston to Penkridge, where it will divert left onto New Road, Cannock Road, and Pottal Pool Road to Pottal Pool roundabout, back on its normal line of route to Cannock.
From Cannock - it will operate the reverse of the above.

- 20:10 from Stafford to Cannock
- 05:00 from Cannock to Stafford
- 05:30 from Cannock to Stafford
