If you are a concessionary pass holder travelling on our buses to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, we are allowing free travel at peak times when you would normally have to pay a fare.
Just show your pass and let our driver know that you are travelling to get a vaccine and you will be issued with a special ticket.

From 11th January to 22nd April buses towards Stafford will be unable to serve Stafford Railway Station, Earle Street or Bridge Street. Buses will divert via Newport Road, Lichfield Road and Queensway to Eastgate Street. Buses will set down as normal at Eastgate Street and Gaol Square, and if the bus is continuing to Earl Street passengers may stay on board at no additional charge.

Buses for students travelling to Stafford College, Walton High School and Blessed William Howard RC High School
These buses are provided for use by students only.
Social distancing rules are different on these journeys and the full seated capacity of the bus can be used. We can't allow standing passengers on these journeys.
Normal fares apply, and tickets can still be purchased on the bus.
We accept contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay on all of our buses for transactions up to £45. Ask your driver for your ticket as usual then present your card or device to the card reader to pay.

Single and return tickets are priced according to the distance that you travel. You can ask the driver, or if you want to know in advance call us on 01782 332337.

The Knot tickets
The Knot is a ticket valid for a day's travel wholly within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent* on buses operated by Arriva Midlands, Chaserider, D&G Bus, First Potteries, Midland Classic (including buses between Burton and Swadlincote), National Express West Midlands and Select Bus Services. Prices are as follows:

* The Knot tickets are not valid on services to and from Alton Towers. Some other exclusions may apply with other operators' services.
PlusBus and National Rail tickets
You can buy a PlusBus ticket as an add-on to your train ticket to get you to and from Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield, Walsall and Wolverhampton railway stations.
We can only accept PlusBus tickets within set boundaries - if you need to travel outside of these areas, you will need to pay a single fare or purchase one of our multi-journey tickets.

We accept nBus and nNetwork tickets within the West Midlands area.
We also accept Swift Go for travel along the full lengths of routes 3 and 70.

Concessionary travel for the elderly or disabled
We accept English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes for free travel on all of our bus services.
Passes are valid after 9.30am Monday to Friday, and all day on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Normal fares apply before 9.30am Monday to Friday.
Passengers holding a Staffordshire County Council disabled pass can travel for free at all times.
